RALI Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how RALI Labs Inc. (“RALI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, retains, and otherwise processes personal information when you use RALI Bottle, RALI Base, RALI mobile applications, rali.co, RALI products, connected products, websites, software, features, and related services (collectively, the “Services”), make a purchase, create an account, communicate with us, or otherwise interact with RALI.
If there is a conflict between the RALI Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy concerning the collection, use, disclosure, or processing of personal information, this Privacy Policy controls with respect to that issue.
1. Personal Information We Collect
For purposes of this Privacy Policy, “personal information” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or can reasonably be linked to an individual. It generally does not include information that has been aggregated or de-identified so that it cannot reasonably be linked to an individual.
RALI may collect information that you provide to us, information that you authorize us to access, information generated through your use of RALI products or Services, information collected automatically when you interact with the Services, and information received from third parties.
Depending on how you interact with RALI, this may include account and contact information; information and content you provide or upload; nutrition, hydration, activity, measurement, and product-use information; location and device information when access is permitted; transaction, order, billing, shipping, and purchase information; technical and usage information; communications with RALI; and other information you choose to provide or make available through the Services.
Payment information may be processed directly by payment providers or commerce providers rather than stored directly by RALI.
When you give RALI access to information, device functionality, permissions, connected services, or integrations, RALI may collect and process information made available through that access for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
You may manage certain permissions through your device or account settings. Disabling a permission may affect related features of the Services.
2. Sources of Personal Information
RALI may collect personal information directly from you when you create an account, use the Services, make a purchase, communicate with us, upload information or content, or otherwise provide information to RALI.
RALI may also collect information automatically from your device, RALI products, connected products, websites, applications, and other Services, including through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies.
RALI may receive information from third parties involved in providing or supporting the Services, including commerce platforms, payment providers, shipping and fulfillment providers, technology providers, connected services, and other parties you authorize or interact with.
3. How We Use Personal Information
RALI may use personal information to provide, operate, maintain, personalize, support, secure, develop, analyze, and improve RALI products and Services.
This may include creating and managing accounts; operating connected products; processing measurements and other information; providing tracking, summaries, features, and functionality; personalizing the Services; processing orders and payments; arranging shipping and fulfillment; managing returns and refunds; providing customer support; communicating with you; troubleshooting problems; maintaining and improving products and software; analyzing how the Services are used; preventing fraud, abuse, and security incidents; enforcing our Terms and policies; complying with legal obligations; and otherwise operating RALI's business.
RALI may combine information from different RALI products, Services, devices, features, and sources as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
RALI may also use contact information to send account, transaction, product, service, security, support, informational, promotional, survey, and marketing communications.
You may unsubscribe from promotional emails using the unsubscribe mechanism included in those emails. Even if you unsubscribe from promotional communications, RALI may continue to send communications concerning transactions, accounts, security, support, products, safety, legal matters, or operation of the Services.
RALI may also use personal information for other purposes disclosed to you at the time the information is collected or as otherwise permitted by applicable law.
4. How We Disclose Personal Information
RALI may disclose personal information to third parties that help us operate, provide, secure, support, analyze, maintain, or improve RALI and the Services.
These parties may include companies involved in hosting, storage, commerce, payments, authentication, communications, email, customer support, analytics, software infrastructure, security, fraud prevention, shipping, fulfillment, and other business or technology functions.
RALI may disclose information when you direct, request, or authorize us to do so, including when you use a feature, integration, connected service, social feature, or other functionality involving another party.
RALI may also disclose personal information where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, court order, subpoena, legal process, or governmental request; investigate or prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, or unlawful activity; enforce RALI's agreements or policies; protect the rights, property, security, or safety of RALI, our users, or others; or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
RALI may disclose information in connection with an actual or proposed merger, acquisition, financing, investment, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, change of control, or similar business transaction.
5. Relationship With Shopify
RALI's online store is powered by Shopify. Shopify and other parties involved in commerce, payment, checkout, order processing, or fulfillment may process personal information relating to your access to and use of rali.co and your transactions with RALI.
Shopify processes information in accordance with its own applicable privacy practices in addition to providing services to RALI.
6. Social Features and Information You Share
Some RALI features may allow you to share information or content with other users or other people.
Information you choose to make available to another person, group, or audience may be viewed, saved, copied, shared, or otherwise used by those recipients.
RALI cannot control what other users or third parties do with information you voluntarily share with them.
7. Third-Party Websites, Services, and Integrations
The Services may contain links to, integrate with, or rely on websites, applications, products, platforms, or services operated by third parties.
RALI does not control the privacy, security, content, or practices of third-party services and is not responsible for their independent practices.
Information you provide directly to a third party is governed by that third party's applicable privacy policy and terms.
The inclusion of a third-party link or integration does not necessarily mean that RALI endorses or controls that third party.
8. Cookies, Pixels, and Similar Technologies
RALI and third parties involved in operating the Services may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Services, maintain sessions, remember preferences, understand usage, measure performance, analyze interactions, maintain security, prevent fraud, support marketing, and improve RALI products and Services.
These technologies may collect information about your device, browser, interactions with the Services, and other usage information.
Some of these technologies may be provided by third parties and may allow those parties to collect information about your interactions with the Services.
Your browser, device, or other available privacy controls may allow you to manage certain cookies, pixels, or similar technologies.
9. Aggregated and De-Identified Information
RALI may create aggregated, statistical, or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify you.
RALI may use and disclose aggregated or de-identified information for analytics, product development, improving RALI products and Services, business operations, planning, and other lawful purposes.
Where required by applicable law, RALI will maintain information in de-identified form and will not attempt to re-identify it except as permitted by law.
10. Data Retention
RALI may retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or processed, including to provide and operate the Services, maintain accounts, fulfill transactions, provide support, maintain security, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, comply with applicable legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory requirements, and operate RALI's business.
Retention periods may vary depending on the nature of the information, the purpose for which it is used, applicable legal requirements, and operational needs.
Information may remain in backups or other systems for a period of time after it is removed from active systems.
11. Account Deletion
You may delete your RALI account using available account controls or by contacting support@rali.co.
When an account is deleted, RALI will delete or de-identify associated personal information, except for information that RALI is permitted or required to retain for legal, transactional, security, fraud-prevention, backup, accounting, dispute-resolution, enforcement, or other legitimate purposes.
Deletion of an account does not necessarily require deletion of information that has already been aggregated or de-identified so that it no longer reasonably identifies you.
12. Security
RALI takes reasonable measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, loss, or disclosure.
No system, network, database, transmission method, or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, RALI cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and devices.
13. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have certain rights concerning your personal information.
These rights may include the right to request access to or information about personal information RALI maintains about you; request correction of inaccurate personal information; request deletion of personal information; obtain a copy of certain personal information; and exercise other rights provided by applicable law.
Where applicable law provides rights relating to the sale, sharing, use, or disclosure of personal information or targeted advertising, those rights may also apply to you to the extent RALI engages in the applicable activity.
You may also manage certain communications and device permissions using the controls provided in communications, your account, your device, or the applicable Service.

RALI may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and process your request. RALI may deny or limit a request where permitted or required by law.
Where applicable law permits an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, RALI may require appropriate proof of the agent's authority and may require verification directly from you.
RALI will respond to valid privacy requests within the period required by applicable law.
RALI will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right provided by applicable law.
14. Privacy Requests, Complaints, and Appeals
If you have a question or complaint concerning RALI's handling of personal information, you may contact support@rali.co.
If applicable law gives you the right to appeal RALI's decision concerning a privacy request, you may submit the appeal to support@rali.co and identify that your request is an appeal of a prior privacy-rights decision.
RALI will review and respond to complaints and appeals as required by applicable law.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
RALI may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including as RALI's products, Services, technology, business practices, or legal requirements change.
RALI will post the current version with an updated effective date and may provide additional notice where required by applicable law.
